Tears of Blood

Adriana has been acting unusually upon returning from her sudden trip across Shaldani.  With a dazed demeanor, she shows signs of memory loss, causing Aden to confine her to her room.  Suddenly, she starts shouting vile things.  Sic, who can see auras, and Valero confirm that she seems to be possessed by something, but no one can determine what.  She gets ahold of a knife and cuts her wrist, but Mia quickly heals it.

Elsewhere, Philip makes an attempt to speak with Ariadne who's locked herself in her room, but gets interrupted when Tranns informs him that Adriana is on the roof.  The two of them race to the scene and try to convince her to come down from the ledge.  Adriana speaks to them with a cruel air and makes comments to Tranns that are similar to those that Philip made when he was turned evil.  She jumps from the ledge and Philip and Tranns are unable to find her.  As an immortal, they know she cannot die, but given the magical barrier, they also know that she cannot teleport.  Her whereabouts and immediately of cocnern.

Soon enough, Adriana reappears in the lobby.  She tells Casey that she will soon have blood on her cheek and she tells Mia that she'll have blood on her stomach.  Casey tries to scan Adriana with her crystal and receives a blast, sending her into a wall.  The crystal shatters, embedding itself in Casey's side.  Blood spatters on Mia's stomach and Casey's cheek.  Although Valero easily stitches her up, Adriana's prophecy comes to fulfillment.  She further predicts there will be blood on the door and on the staircase and that someone named Milady will come.  Unsure of what else to do, Mia knocks her out and she's locked in the basement cage.

Left to guard the cage, one of Valero's less noble personalities comes forward.  Adriana promises to sleep with him if he releases her.  When he agrees, Adriana leaves without so much as a kiss.  Jonas, enraged over the injury done to Casey, tries to talk some sense into Adriana, but that doesn't go over any better.  Again she makes warning of Milady.

Aden, Valero, Jonas, and Mia gather in the lobby when a frightenly alien woman suddenly appears in the door.  She treats them coldly, but calls each of them by name.  Quickly, they realize that this is Milady.  After sending Mia to the basement and Jonas upstairs to fetch Philip, Aden confronts her, demanding that she undoes whatever she did to Adriana.  Miladly refuses, instead inciting a fight that ends with Mia bleeding on the doorway and Aden bleeding on the stairs, stabbed by his own sword.  Adriana's second prophecy comes true.

Philip finally confronts Milady.  She explains that she's been controlling Adriana, using her to get information about the Phoenix Fighters in the same way she pried into Sito's dreams.  When she finally releases Adriana from the spell, Philip triggers one of Casey's security traps, ejecting Milady from the House.  Later that night, Ariadne allows Philip into her room.  She confesses her feelings of guilt over the death of the Human test subject.  His comforting words turn to romance and the two of them spend their first night together.
