One of the Guise

While Philip works on improving his smile, Sito decides to poke fun at him, then asks him how Ariadne is feeling, causing a fight to flare up between the two.  It is revealed that Philip still distrusts Sito when it comes to Ariadne, certain that Sito is still in love with her.  Sito denies it and finally gets fed up, calls Philip "Dragmire" and storming out of the House.  The house that Sito arrives at during his wanderings is under attack by Ebene soldiers.  The people of the town mistake Sito for Link, the famous Hylian Hero of Time solely on his looks.  Sito defeats the soldiers and decides to take on the title, enjoying the attention.

Back at the House, Casey receives an unexpected visit from the mysterious Milady.  Although Philip and Valero valiently try to defend her, Milady easily drags Casey off to a deserted stable where she begins to question the girl about the newest inhabitants of the House.  Casey reluctantly complies with Milady's demand, answering all of her questions for fear that Milady, who knows about Casey's past, will tell the Phoenix Fighters.  Once she's content with the information, Milady abandons Casey, forcing her to make her own way home.

Meanwhile, General Onox, a warlord from Holodrum, hearing word of the absent Hero of Time's return, travels to Shaldani to get rid of Link once and for all.  Thinking that Sito is Link, Onox attacks him and loses the battle twice.  Angered by his defeat, he captures Sito and takes him to an underground cave.  There, Sito meets a strange, thirty eight year old man named Tingle, who was also captured by Onox.  Onox soon learns that Sito is not the Hero of Time and takes his anger out, whipping Sito, denying him food or water.

Ariadne, meanwhile, begins her night patrols, eager for the chance to prove herself an asset to the team.  On her first trip, she escorts Casey back to the House under the guise of Shiana.  Aden decides, in the meantime, to begin a program to help the surviving families of people killed by the Ebene.  He puts a reluctant Adriana in charge.  Despite her uncertainties, Adriana's organizational skills blossom under the new assignment.

Getting word of Sito's kidnapping, Jesse, Adriana, Valero, and Pfalz search for their missing friend, discovering the underground dungeon.  Fighting Octoroks, Moblins, and other beasts native to Hyrule but alien to Shaldani, they make their way through the dungeon, finally facing Onox himself.  Once Onox was defeated, the four hurry to Sito and Tingle, setting both free. They bring Sito back to the House where he begins to recover.  Tingle is escorted across the border with the other refugees.
