A strange wraith named Moradan shows up at the house and after taunting and threatening everyone leaves to a village it destroyed nearby.  Amorette, Shawn, and Pfalz go after it.  Moradan kills Shawn almost immediately and carves a strange rune into Pfalz's forehead.  Amorette and Pfalz decide to run, taking Shawn's body with them.  Aden  delivers a touching eulogy, but Mia helps Pfalz and Amorette to heal Shawn's body.  After this, Pfalz opens up a portal to catch Shawn's soul, which she puts back into his body.  It works and he is resurrected, but there's something now very wrong with his personality.

Sic and Jake discuss visiting their home in Catalan, if anything to tell everyone they're okay.  But Sic points out they probably wouldn't be able to get back into Shaldani so if they left they probably wouldn't come back.  They argue over it a little and it seems Jake is more homesick then he first let on.

 

Meanwhile, Shawn starts hitting on all the girls in the House, and Krysta is overjoyed when he pays this kind of attention to her. But then Shawn begins to hit on Adriana in front of Krysta which infuriates her to a point where she knocks Shawn out.  Suddenly, Jonas returns from a supply run, beaten and bloody.  He explains that he was attacked by an Ebene officer named Cirrus.  This name sparks a memory with Mia who realizes that he is the fourth son of her mother, Kara Fanel, who she has told no one about. 

 

Sic complains to Jesse that she is beginning to have strange dreams of the voice she once heard when she was muted.  She also says her vision seems to be fading, but her voice is not returning.  She fears that she's going to be blind and mute, but Casey, her only hope for an answer, has left to complete Jonas' supply run with Jonas chasing after her.  Secretly, Philip sets off to hunt down Cirrus.  When Ariadne tries to stop him, he knocks her out.
