Aden calls a meeting, asking Mia to examine the brains of everyone in the House in an attempt to find out where Philip
Dragmire is hiding. Unfortunately, the spell goes wrong and everyone's memory is warped, making them all believe that
they're sixteen year olds. Having no memory of the Phoenix House or each other, the Phoenix Fighters begin to freak
out, each with his or her own theory about how they came to this strange place. They break off into groups to explore
the House, but find more questions than answers.
They gather in the lobby to try and elect a leader, but this results in chaos. Jake, somehow immune to the spell,
runs in trying to convince them of what's going on. Two factions form, one led by Krysta, the other by Adriana and Aden.
Krysta's group believes Jake while the competition thinks him the enemy. As they debate tying him to a chair, Ariadne
reverts to her demon form and everyone panics. A huge fight breaks out in which two sides are formed, one led by Mia
and Krysta, the other by Aden and Adriana. Philip and Ariadne get into a raging fight on the roof, surrounded by Aden
and Adriana's followers while Krysta and Mia's team relocate to the bar.
Although Mia tries desperately to break up the fight, Ariadne and Philip continue to duel until Philip breaks protocol
and stabs her in the back. Mia is knocked out and dragged off of the roof while the wounded Ariadne is tied to the chimney.
Although Valero and Amorette want to kill her, Aden insists that they must question her, believing her to be the mysterious
enemy that the government sent to trap them all in the Phoenix House. They move down to the basement.
Eris and Trista, a newly arrived earthen sprite, also immune to the spell use Jake's lab notes to mix up what they believe
is a cure for the effects. They use it on Mia and Krysta first, then Shawn, Ariadne, Sic, Pfalz, and Philip. Krysta
tips a dagger with the potion and convinces Sito to stab Aden with it. Back in command, Aden has the remaining Fighters
under the spell rounded up and put into a cage. He is distressed when Tranns announces that she doesn't want her memories
restored because she has read Adriana's file about her past and wants to start over fresh. Lucien, a much more noble
individual as a teenager, protectively keeps her from everyone.
Tapping into dark forces for the second time, Aden conjures up a cure and convinces Adriana to take it. With her
help, everyone else in the cage is cured and released, except for Tranns and Adriana who are told that they will not be released
until they apologize to each other for their arguement from the Dragmire incident. Tranns apologizes immediately and
is released, but Adriana refuses and is left in the cage overnight with only Warren to converse with.
